The European High-tech and Emerging Research Association is a non-profit professional organisation of people who share an interest in advancing research and practice.
Diving into the deep
We are a community that engages in research and dialogue on high-tech and emerging topics. We support the professional development of emerging and established scholars, advocate research-informed improvements in future perspectives, and seek engagement with high-quality research and discussion of important theoretical, methodological, practice and policy issues.
Our mission
EUHERA is a community of scholars dedicated to promoting research that enriches the knowledge, understanding and development of the world. We are committed to ethical research that is rigorous, methodologically diverse and socially responsible, and to disseminating it broadly to promote generative theories, informed practices and sound policies. Central to our mission, EUHERA mentors and supports future generations of sci-tech scholars.
EUHERA and Ital Publication
In 2016 EUHERA supported the establishment of Ital Publication, an independent publisher of open-access journals. The two organisations operate separately. EUHERA does not own, manage or fund Ital Publication or its journals, and has no role in their editorial decisions, peer review or the appointment of editors. More about Ital Publication.

Meet our team
Federica held various positions in the association before becoming CEO. She holds a PhD in Information Technology.
gattuso@euhera.orgAdriano joined EUHERA in 2014 as CEO and became Technical Manager in 2015. He holds a PhD in Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy from Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.
ricci@euhera.orgKrystian has a strong grounding in social research methods and manages a number of key contracts day to day, promoting online surveys and forums for cost-effective consultation.
